Crème Brûlée that serves 4 people:
Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar, plus extra for the topping
4 large egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 325°F.

In a medium saucepan, heat the cream, milk, and 1/2 cup sugar over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture just starts to simmer.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, vanilla extract, and salt.

Slowly pour the hot cream mixture into the egg mixture while whisking continuously.

Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl.

Divide the mixture evenly among four ramekins.

Place the ramekins in a baking dish and pour hot water into the baking dish until it comes halfway up the sides of the ramekins.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the edges are set but the center is still jiggly.

Remove from the oven and let the ramekins cool to room temperature.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until completely chilled.

Just before serving, sprinkle a thin layer of granulated sugar on top of each crème brûlée.

Use a kitchen torch to melt and caramelize the sugar until it forms a golden-brown crust.
